The Orks had landed dangerously close to the sovereign's borders, Orks were reckless but they weren't stupid... tactically. Warboss Urgler Bone-eata knew his landing ships would be shot down before they could even get close to the shore if they attacked the sovereign lands directly and ignored the wall. No... there was only one way inside, and that meant busting through the mighty wall. "ALRIGHT... you listen ta me ya squig herders. Today weez gonna show dem ummies dat weez da biggest an strongest der iz! ANY QUESTIONS?" he said to his soldiers "But boss, how'z we gonna get froo da wa-" SPLAT and the ork was little more than a pile of broken bones, green skin, and blood. "Tah ansa dat STOOPID questin, weez gonna SMASH DAT WALL TA BITZ. DATS WHAT. Now... iz anyone else doin da finkin ere? Or is ol Urgler gonna haf to smash som un else..." there was silence. "Nah? good... lets get to it boyz!" he said as he lead his warriors towards their target.
Meanwhile, the soldiers stirred on the wall. By now it was dark out, the cold rain pouring down on the soldiers and the wall, but none flinched. They had gotten some tips from their scouts that Orks had been sighted encroaching upon the borders of the Sovereignty. A guard captain walked along the wall top to inspect and ensure the men were at peak condition. "Alright men... you know how this goes..." he said as he stepped past his lined up men with his arms folded behind his back "Orks have attacked us before... and what did we do to them them?" the soldiers responded in unison "WE CUT THEM DOWN" this was music to the captain's ears "And tell me... when attacked by Orks... what is the one thing I hate to see?" "COWARDS!" "Yes... that's right, I hate seeing COWARDS... so tell me, are you cowards?" "NO SIR!" "I don't think I heard you... I said, ARE YOU COWARDS?" "NO SIR!!!" they shouted with added vigor. "Really? Well it justs so happens that I was informed that there are cowards amongst us... Someone told me that a certain soldier was planning on deserting his post!" the soldiers went silent "I know who it was... and they know who they are... step forward... NOW!" he said as he glared at his men. One man was shivering but refused to step forward "Oh? No one? If he doesn't come forward I'll just have to start executing men until he reveals himself..." he said as he took out his pistol and pointed it at the nearest soldier, the soldiers gulped but otherwise didn't flinch and remained upright. The captain nearly pulled the trigger before hearing one soldier start crying, his head snapped to the sound and he immediately walked over to the man with gun in hand. "Private... I charge you of cowardice..." "i-i... i just..." "Speak up" "I just... wanted to see my mother again..." the captain raised a brow. A lot of these men were drafted and thus were ripped from their families, seems this one desperately wanted to go home. "Private, your mother stands to DIE if you show cowardice in the face of these monsters. Now straighten up, get a grip, and follow my example before I MAKE YOU ONE. Is that understood?" "I... y-yes... YES SIR!" the private said as he saluted with renewed vigor. Thing is... this wasn't the man who was outed for cowardice. Out the corner of his eye he saw him, the man dropped his weapons and broke into a full sprint away from the captain. POW, a bullet pierced through the back of his skull killing him. The Captain reloaded his gun and walked over to the dead man "BEHOLD THE PRICE OF COWARDICE!"
