[insert about 6+ months of plot development and drama here.]

"There has got to be something useful to us around here." Luna nodded as she took note of the variety of stands. She already knew that she would be back later. Her curiosity would get the best of her. It almost reminded her of the festival with the gypsies. That, but much, much hotter.

"I think its about time I get a new knife..." Luna said with hesitation, reaching in her pocket to pull out the blade she had been given when she had first joined the revolution. She had nearly forgotten about it now that she was so caught up in it. Roger's knife. She almost felt ashamed of herself for not using it more often, but she reminded herself that it would only bring back the painful memories.

The revolution did help her forget, yes, but there that was one of the reminders that he was once alive and not just a passing memory. It had been a while that she had been in enough danger that she heard his voice. She was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen again.

They continued on through the sweltering yet beautiful streets until at last they came upon a tavern. 'Rest Of The Iris' it was called, it certainly looked a lot cooler than it was outside. "About damn time... Was beginning to think we'd die of heat stroke before the time we got here." Walter panted out. "Well well! If it isn't my favorite Elran pals." a familiar voice spoke out "Well if it isn't the golden Corsair himself, captain Cyrus..." Walter said as Cyrus walked into view "So, I see you made here alright, how's the city been so far?" he said with a smile "Hot as hell... so... pissing hot..." Delvus said. Cyrus laughed "Yeah you do have to get used to the heat here, anyways... that aside you came here on a lead, a lead that I got. Well let's get to business, but first, you northerners look like you could use some liquid refreshment. How 'bout it eh?" he said "How about you Luna? What's the Hero of Elra in the mood for?"

"Anything cold. Anything!" She sat down and laid her head down on the table. "This is inhumanly hot, I don't understand how you can stand it." Luna did her best to keep her hair off of her face and neck, but the humidity was making that difficult. It was practically attacking her. "Does it at least cool down when the sun goes down?" She asked.

Cyrus nodded "It gets pretty cold after dark, yeah. Though I'm not sure if you intend to wait that long." he chuckled and whistled to a tray carrier who then brought over a few drinks. "Here, ice cold water, thanks to mage that works here. Ice magic is quite handy. And..." he took out a flask and threw it to Walter who caught it "Some Elran brandy for the old man." Walter chuckled "Not old, just grizzled is all." the two laughed while Delvus grabbed his glass and chugged it down. "So... uh..." Delvus said whilst trying to catch his breath "So are we going to talk about this lead or what?" Walter and Cyrus looked to him "Oh, right. Come inside, Out of the sun and let's talk." Cyrus beckoned them to follow him inside the tavern.

Luna had no problem doing that. The shade never felt so nice to her. It was something that people in Elra never had to appreciate due to there cold weather. She still couldn't believe how much she missed it there, even with the haunting memories of Roger and her parents that were there. She still did not trust the so called truce that was called by the Raven Lord so she was sure that he wasn't done wrecking havoc on her life there.

Luna followed them, taking a sip of water. "This water is great. I never thought I would love water so much." Luna said to Delvus, not wanting to bother the others with her ramblings.

Delvus giggled at her joke, with Luna it didn't take much to get Delvus to laugh, or smile, or blush, or do anything really. But eventually Cyrus sat the group down at a table "Alright... enough chit chat, you're here looking for a man that can get you into Dyslander, and I think I your man..." Delvus and walter looked over at Cyrus. "He's a bit of a Hermit in this city, has his own 'secret' hideout that I happen to know the location of, he keeps to himself mostly and invents... things." walter raised his brow "What things?" he asked, Cyrus sighed "Things, it'd be impossible to read them all out, for example this guy's made bombs, automatons, some guns, glasses, some weird little machine that blows bubbles... but most importantly, we believe he known how to build airships." Delvus was mid sip but nearly choked on it "W-hahat? Air ships?" he said in surprise "Cyrus are you sure about this?" walter asked "As sure as I can be, we believe he has one in the works and that it'll actually work! If we can recruit this guy and give him the revolution's resources, we'd have a navy in the sky!" Cyrus said excitedly. Walter sighed, trying to process it all.

"Airships?.... That isn't possible." Luna shook her head. "If it was possible wouldn't the Raven Lord have done it by now?" She asked. "And if this guy is so good why hasn't he tried to get him on his side in the first place?" She continued to question Cyrus. It all seemed like a bit much. Then again, before Luna had met Ben and Walter, she would have said that most of what happened was impossible.

Cyrus bit his lip "Well first... The Raven lord probably doesn't even know about this guy. Hell, we didn't even find out that this guy existed until a few weeks ago. And yes... airships... I'm just as skeptical as you are, but seeing as how the Raven Lord somehow got the entirety of Dyslander city in the air... I'm willing to take a gamble on this guy." Walter huffed "You mean WE are willing to take a gamble on this guy?" Cyrus looked to walter and nodded. Delvus looked particularly perplexed "If the Raven lord didn't even know about this guy... that means he's well hidden, and well guarded... or both, no one just AVOIDS the raven lord. I mean... Hell i worked for the guy, between the Ravens and People like me there is no way in hell a normal person could go unnoticed." Walter turned to Delvus "Then how's about this, you and Luna make contact with this guy, if you're so knowledgeable." Delvus blushed ever so feintly "O-oh well.. eh heh... I mean she doesn't really... h-have to per say." Cyrus raised a brow "What, you got a problem with her?"

Luna tried not to giggle at Delvus. "I will go. I mean, aren't I supposed to be the face of this whole thing? I still don't understand how I got stuck with that...." She picked up her glass of water and took a long sip. "I guess I do... The Raven Lord wants me dead more than anyone." She laughed. "He won't admit that though. He wants me to suffer a worse fate than death... But enough of that, what do we need to do to find this guy? Delvus is right, he had to be a master of disguise to stay out of the Raven Lord's view for so long."
